Description
Head and Neck
- most cranial nerves, with their branches, as well as the main peripheral nerves of the neck are presented on one side, while the other displays all the main arteries and some veins, with their respective branches
Thorax, Abdomen and Pelvis
- the frontal thoracic and abdominal walls are removed to reveal the inner organs
- in the thoracic cavity, the dissected heart and lungs are divided at the diaphragm from the abdominal cavity, where the liver with gallbladder, and spleen are demonstrated
- retroperitoneal organs including kidneys with ureters, duodenum, pancreas, as well as the aorta with branches, inferior vena cava (or part thereof), and main branches of the lumbar plexus are exposed
- all the organs and structures of the lesser pelvis are displayed
- both the perineal structures and the external genital organs will be dissected
Extremities
- deep muscles, main joints with their ligaments and peripheral nerves are exposed through dissection on one side
- on the other side deep muscular dissection combined with arteries (main veins when required), and joints complete with capsules and ligaments
